What happened after You Gotta Eat Here!?

The Season 2 episode that aired 2013-05-03, a viewer-recommended episode, visited CheeseCurds Gourmet Burgers and Poutinerie in Dartmouth, with the CC Porker burger as the dish the episode listing credits. The Coast reported on 2012-02-16 that Cheese Curds Gourmet Burger & Poutinery at 380 Pleasant Street was opening that week. The Coast's archive of its Best of Halifax readers' polls shows the restaurant placing silver for Best New Restaurant and Best Burger in 2013, and bronze or silver in several burger, fries, and poutine categories from 2014 through 2018. The restaurant's own website calls it Halifax's original gourmet burger joint, includes a photo labeled CCPorker, shows a Certificate of Excellence badge labeled 2013 to 2025, and mentions Dartmouth locations at Woodside and Burnside. A Wanderlog listing for the brand gives a Wright Avenue address in Dartmouth.

The Coast's sponsored guide of 2017-04-20, last modified 2025-08-01, placed Cheese Curds in Woodside at 380 Pleasant Street, with a second shop at 600 Windmill Road in Burnside. The chain's locations page, checked 2026-10-19, lists a Woodside, Dartmouth shop with an online-ordering link, though it gives no street address. A Tourism Nova Scotia listing, modified 2025-02-06, gives only the Windmill Road address and lists the business as open year-round.
