Gordon Ramsay presented Kai, based in London's Mayfair, in the third episode of Ramsay's Best Restaurant (Channel 4, 'Chinese Restaurants', aired 2010-09-28), paired with the family-run Yu & You of Blackburn, according to TVmaze's episode synopsis. The Michelin Guide lists Kai at 65 South Audley Street as an upscale Chinese restaurant whose menus cover the whole country with an emphasis on southern Nanyang cooking; about a fifth of the dishes are classics such as 18-hour slow-cooked pork belly, and afternoon tea is offered. Wikipedia lists Bernard Yeoh as the owner and says Kai held a Michelin star from 2009 until the 2025 guide.
