What happened after Ramsay's Best Restaurant?
Momo, a Moroccan restaurant at 25 Heddon Street in Mayfair, represented London's West End against Azou of Hammersmith in the North African category of Ramsay's Best Restaurant (Channel 4), in the episode "North African Restaurants" aired 2010-10-26. Harden's lists an opening year of 1997. Hot Dinners reported on 2019-03-12 that Momo was getting a new interior designed with Mourad Mazouz, an extended terrace, and a new menu under head chef Herve Deville, with a cocktail bar called Kwant planned for April. A Time Out editors' note from May 2019 says Momo relaunched with a new menu and design. Time Out's London listing, read on 2026-10-19, is headed closed and gives no closure date, and a Google Maps listing checked the same day marks Momo permanently closed.
