A Lunenburg Doc Fest page dated 2016-12-29 named Magnolia's Grill as a sponsor of the festival and gave its address as 128 Montague Street, with the website magnolias-grill.com. The same page relayed Fodor's description of the restaurant as a blend of Nova Scotian and Deep South cooking, with fish cakes, creole peanut soup and pulled pork on the menu, and said the small dining room fills quickly. A Google Maps listing for Magnolia's Grill at 128 Montague Street, Lunenburg, checked on 2026-10-19, marks the business as permanently closed. The listing gives no closing date.
