What happened after Man v. Food?
Blue Door Pub is a Twin Cities burger chain known for the Blucy, a bleu-cheese variant of Minnesota's stuffed Jucy Lucy burger, according to Wikipedia and the chain's own site, thebdp.com. Jeremy Woerner and Pat McDonough opened the first Blue Door Pub in St. Paul in September 2008, per Wikipedia citing a 2019 Star Tribune profile; the Como Avenue location, on the edge of the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis, opened later as the chain expanded. Man v. Food featured the Blucy during the show's Minneapolis stop, which aired May 28, 2018.
The original Selby Avenue location in St. Paul did not reopen after a pandemic-era closure; Eater and CBS News Minnesota reported on April 20, 2021 that the owners confirmed it would not return. As of 2026, thebdp.com lists the Como Avenue and Longfellow locations as open for dine-in with current posted hours, and the Como Avenue location's Yelp page was updated in August 2026.
