What happened after The Hotel Inspector?

The Hotel Inspector (Channel 5) visited the Epstein House Hotel in Liverpool in series 10, episode 1, which aired 2014-02-06. According to Wikipedia's episode list, the hotel occupies a house that was once Brian Epstein's home and is decorated with Beatles memorabilia. TVmaze's episode page describes the owner as displaying that memorabilia around the property, and TheTVDB's episode page names the owner as Patrick Duggan, whom presenter Alex Polizzi tried to persuade to accept her suggested changes to improve the hotel's fortunes. None of these listings gives figures for bookings or revenue, and none describes an outcome from the visit.

Later coverage placed the hotel in the Anfield district of Liverpool. The Business Desk reported on 2019-07-30 that the hotel was on the market with a guide price of £895,000 and named Duggan as the seller. The same article noted that the hotel had also appeared on Four in a Bed, and it attributed to the owner the view that Anfield's £260 million regeneration program had helped the area. The article was behind a paywall when read, so the rest of its text was not visible.

A Google Maps location search for the hotel returned a business called Stanley Park Hotel at 27A Anfield Road, but no source read for this entry ties that business to Epstein House, so its address has not been adopted. No dated source from 2025 or 2026 was found showing whether the hotel is trading, was sold or has ceased operating.
