What happened after You Gotta Eat Here!?
John Catucci's Season 4 episode that aired 2015-04-24 included Nuba, a Lebanese restaurant in Vancouver; TV Guide's listing says he sampled dishes made from traditional recipes and fresh West Coast ingredients. According to Nuba's own YouTube video, uploaded 2017-02-02, he visited the Kitsilano location, where a cook prepared the signature falafel, mjadra and hushwie. Scout Magazine reported on 2012-05-22 that Nuba had opened a Lebanese-style taverna at 3116 West Broadway, in the space that had housed the Greek restaurant Orestes, and described a multi-level room and a menu reworking recipes from the owning family. Nuba's website, viewed 2026-10-20, lists Kitsilano alongside its Gastown, Mount Pleasant and Yaletown restaurants. The OpenTable page for Nuba Kitsilano, viewed 2026-10-20, showed diner reviews dated between 2026-09-20 and 2026-10-10 and listed daily lunch service plus evening dinner hours.
