Man v. Food, Season 4 Omaha, Nebraska
Current status
As of October 2026, Starsky's Bar and Grill operates under new ownership — confirmed via cityclerk.cityofomaha.org, September 18, 2024.
What the source shows: A City of Omaha liquor-license transfer file received September 18, 2024 shows R and T Group LLC, doing business as Trips Bar and Grill, applying to take over at 7812 F Street from the license held by Starsky's, with a temporary permit to keep operating meanwhile. Wanderlog's listing for Trips Bar & Grill, checked October 19, 2026, keeps the Starsky's phone number and still describes the pig wings. How we decide a status →

What happened after Man v. Food?
Man v. Food (S4E21, aired 2011-10-26) featured Starsky's Bar and Grill, an Omaha bar known for pig wings, a deep-fried pork specialty Adam Richman sampled during the visit. Starsky's operated at 7812 F St near 78th and F Street. Google Places' current listing for that address, checked 2026-09-08, shows the business now operating as Trips Bar & Grill rather than Starsky's. Starsky's changed hands in September 2024: a City of Omaha liquor-license transfer file dated September 18, 2024 shows R and T Group LLC, doing business as Trips Bar and Grill, taking over from Starsky's at the address, and current listings for Trips still describe the pig wings Starsky's was known for. A separate Yelp listing for a Starsky's location at 4020 S 13th St was marked permanently closed, per a January 2026 check.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
