What happened after You Gotta Eat Here!?

The Downtown Diner in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, was one of three stops in the Season 4 episode aired 2015-07-03; TV Guide's listing says Catucci danced his way through a meal at the 1950s-style diner. CBC Edmonton's food review by Twyla Campbell (undated page) recommends the Downtowner Burger with smoked cheddar and brown-sugar bacon, stuffed French toast, and a Saturday-morning prime rib Eggs Benedict, in a room with vinyl booths. The Kitchen Magpie blog, in a post dated 2014-08-01 and updated 2020-06-23, described a 1950s-style interior whose booths came from a local Zeller's store after it closed, and said the kitchen cooks everything in-house from scratch, including a roast beef dinner and chocolate peanut butter cup milkshakes. A Google Maps listing for 10209 100 Avenue, checked 2026-10-19, marks the diner permanently closed.
