According to TVmaze's listing for the episode "Charlene's Bayside Restaurant, Tide and Boar Cafe, Prince Albert's Diner" (S1E6, aired 2012-08-29), host John Catucci tried boar poutine at the Tide and Boar Gastropub in Moncton, New Brunswick. Saltscapes magazine, in an article dated 2019-06-05, placed the gastropub at 700 Main Street, named Chad Steeves as owner and Mark Wapole as chef, and listed a braised boar meat pie, fried pickles, burgers, ribeyes and a charcuterie board among its dishes. The pub's own website, viewed in October 2026, has pages for reservations, specials, music, a brewery, a cafe, catering and a merchandise shop. Its music page listed concerts in the Ballroom on dates from October through December, including a Halloween event on 2026-10-31, and its specials page carried a steak night flyer. A Google Places listing checked on 2026-10-19 shows the business as operational.
