What happened after Food Paradise?
The episode spotlighted 4505 Burgers & BBQ's smash burgers alongside its fried pork-skin chicharrones, a dish the kitchen built its name on before it ever ran a dining room. The restaurant grew out of chef Tara Maiden's 4505 Meats butcher counter into a full-service restaurant on San Francisco's Divisadero corridor in the NoPa neighborhood. According to the business's own website, checked 2026-09-08, the restaurant was still taking online orders and running its 'Million Burger Club' loyalty program, and its menu continued to list a dedicated Chicharrones section next to burgers, catering, and gift cards. The site also linked to an hours-and-location page, an accessibility statement, and active Facebook and Instagram accounts, details consistent with a currently operating restaurant rather than a stale web page.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
