What happened after You Gotta Eat Here!?

Anna Mae's Bakery and Restaurant in Millbank, Ontario was one of three stops in the Season 4 episode of You Gotta Eat Here! titled "Dreamy Weenies, Longtail Kitchen, Anna Mae's Bakery and Restaurant," which aired 2015-05-08; TVmaze's summary says host John Catucci visited the restaurant and bakery but names no dish. According to an undated Perth County business feature, Anna Mae Wagler began selling pies from a stand at the end of her driveway in 1978, and the business became a full-service bakery and restaurant serving homemade Mennonite cooking in 1991. The feature says Marlene and Mel Herrfort took over in 2001, that the bakery makes more than 75,000 pies a year, that broasted chicken is a specialty, and that the 2014 appearance on the show raised its profile in southwestern Ontario. In October 2026 the restaurant's website listed bakery hours of Monday to Saturday, 7am to 7pm, dine-in from 11am to 7pm, over 18 pies baked daily and a family-owned-and-operated description (annamaes.ca).
