What happened after Food Paradise?

Food Paradise's 'More Bite for the Buck' episode (season 13, episode 13) featured Chow Daddy's Kitchen and Bar, a restaurant and bar in a shopping center on Lighthouse Road on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, among the episode's value-priced dining stops. The evidence gathered for this record does not describe the specific dish spotlighted during filming. According to Google Places, the business, listed there as 'Chow Daddy's,' was recorded as permanently closed as of 2026-09-08. A check of chowdaddys.com the same day returned no response from the server, consistent with the domain no longer being maintained.

No news coverage or ownership statement describing the closure's timing or circumstances was located in the sources reviewed. No source dated later than 2026-09-08 was found describing Chow Daddy's Kitchen and Bar as currently operating at the Lighthouse Road address.
