The July 3, 2015 episode of You Gotta Eat Here! ('Mi Madre's Mexican Restaurant, The Downtown Diner, Dianne's Fishbar') included a fish shack in Kingston, Ontario, according to TVmaze's episode summary. Visit Kingston's story published April 4, 2023 listed Dianne's Fish Shack & Smokehouse at 195 Ontario Street and recommended its Nova Scotia lobster rolls and dirty fries. In October 2026 the restaurant's website, titled Dianne's, listed the same address near Springer Market Square and described East Coast seafood and Mexican dishes, including oysters, lobster rolls and tacos. The site listed weekly hours, Toast reservations and pickup ordering, and a section of related restaurants that names Atomica and Harper's Burger Bar. The pages read did not mention a Fishbar name or any earlier name. A Google Maps listing checked on 2026-10-19 showed Dianne's at 195 Ontario Street as operational.
