What happened after The Hotel Inspector?

The Original Hut Company, a shepherd's hut and glamping business at Quarry Farm in Bodiam, East Sussex, was featured in the nineteenth-series Hotel Inspector episode 'East Sussex Shepherds Huts', which aired on Channel 5 on 2024-05-02 as Alex Polizzi's first glamping visit. TheTVDB's listing says owners Anna and Nick had run the site for more than 15 years, that occupancy was low, and that the business was heading toward large losses.

A post on the Eastbourne Chamber website (the post carries no date) said Alex brought in Pearce Marketing, whose Emma Pearce delivered projects including new marketing materials and signage. According to the post, Anna said Alex gave advice on running the business and on its finances.

The Coolplaces listing for The Original Hut Company, with a 2026 copyright footer, describes eight shepherd's huts across two sites, open March to December, with an on-site cafe and shop open daily; its only review is dated January 2013. A campsites.co.uk listing, last updated 2025-01-04, gives season dates of 21 March to 3 November for the huts and the address Quarry Farm, Bodiam TN32 5RA. A Google Places listing under the name The Original Hut Company Camping and Glamping, at the same postcode, was marked operational when checked on 2026-10-20.
