What happened after Food Paradise?
The 'Meltdown' episode featured EVO Pizzeria, a wood-fired pizza restaurant operating under the name Extra Virgin Oven at 1075 E Montague Ave in North Charleston, SC — the business is located in North Charleston rather than Charleston proper, as the episode listing named it. A 2026-09-09 check of the restaurant's website, evopizza.com, found posted weekly hours and an active online ordering system, and Google Places lists the business as operational. No additional independent, dated source such as a news article or review was located during this check. No information was found suggesting a change of ownership, name, or location since the episode aired.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
