What happened after Food Paradise?
Deep Fried Paradise 2: Extra Crispy featured Fletcher's, the original corny dog stand at Fair Park in Dallas, Texas, known for deep-frying a hot dog on a stick in a cornmeal batter. Neal Fletcher developed the corny dog and began selling it at the State Fair of Texas in 1942, and the Fletcher family has operated stands at the fairgrounds every year since. According to FOX4 Dallas-Fort Worth, reporting 2026-08-25, Fletcher's kept every menu item under $10 for the 2026 State Fair of Texas, including a new $7 Chocolate Corny Dog that won a 'Best Taste - Sweet' award at the Big Tex Choice Awards. A Yelp listing for the business, updated September 2026, shows continued activity, and Fletcher's operates seven stands spread across the Fair Park grounds during the fair's 24-day run, in addition to shipping products nationwide through its own website.
