What happened after Hotel Impossible?

Hotel Corpus Christi Bayfront, a bayfront hotel in downtown Corpus Christi, Texas, was featured in the Hotel Impossible episode that aired May 14, 2012, on Travel Channel. A search on September 9, 2026, found the property now marketed as the Omni Corpus Christi Hotel: Omnihotels.com lists it in the downtown Marina District with a health club and multiple restaurants, and a Travel Weekly hotel listing separately identifies it as the Omni Corpus Christi Hotel at the same Corpus Christi address. A hotel-booking aggregator, HotelPlanner.com, still carries an older listing page titled Hotel Corpus Christi Bayfront for 601 North Water Street, reflecting the earlier name in use around the time of the 2012 episode.

A direct automated check of the Omni site returned an HTTP 403 error, so its current page content could not be independently confirmed beyond these listings. Google Places lists the business as operational, under the name Omni Corpus Christi Hotel, at 900 North Shoreline Boulevard, Corpus Christi, Texas 78401.
