What happened after Food Paradise?
"Donut Paradise" (S1E5) featured Kane's Donuts among a lineup of standout American doughnut shops, spotlighting its scratch-made doughnuts. Kane's Donuts is a family bakery founded in 1955 in Saugus, Massachusetts, according to the business's own website, and now runs two Saugus shops: the original on Lincoln Avenue and a second on Route 1. Yelp's page for the Lincoln Avenue shop, updated July 2026, listed current hours, Monday through Saturday 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sunday 5 a.m. to 1 p.m., alongside hundreds of recent customer reviews.
On 2026-09-08, Kane's Donuts' website showed the Route 1 shop keeping longer hours, until 6 p.m. on weekdays, and offered local pickup ordering through Toast plus nationwide shipping via Goldbelly. The same site described the brand as "Boston's Donut OG," tracing its roots to the original 1955 shop.
