What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?

Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives featured Joe's Gizzard City in the "One of a Kind" episode, which aired 2007-11-19, highlighting the restaurant's fried chicken gizzards. Joe's Gizzard City is a bar-and-cafe combination restaurant on Main Street in the small village of Potterville, Michigan. A check of the restaurant's own website, gizzardcity.com, on 2026-09-07 returned an HTTP 200 response listing current bar hours of Monday through Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday noon to 10 p.m., along with separate cafe hours and a working phone number. That phone number, (517) 645-2120, differs from the (517) 927-7912 number on file from the original location data; both are noted here rather than resolved. No news coverage of a closure, sale, or relocation was found in this check.
