Jon's Goodtime Bar & Grill Is Now Brothers… — Bar Rescue Update

Jon's Goodtime Bar & Grill, in Inkster, Michigan, was featured on Bar Rescue season 9, episode 35, "Bad Times at Goodtime" (aired 2025-05-18). As is standard for the series, a hospitality consultant is sent to diagnose a bar's operational problems and lead a renovation, menu overhaul, and relaunch; a recap describing the particular findings and changes made at this location was not among the sources reviewed for this entry. The address associated with Jon's Goodtime now operates under a different name and concept. Google Places lists the business at 27553 Cherry Hill Rd, Building 1, in Inkster as Brothers Smokehouse Bar and BBQ, and marks it operational.

The business's own website, brotherssmokehousebbq.com, presents the venue with a smoke-and-barbecue theme, describing it as a barbecue restaurant with a bar section offering cold drinks, music, and televisions alongside a separate catering menu. A site check on 2026-09-08 found brotherssmokehousebbq.com loading normally, with navigation to a menu, a catering page, and an online ordering section, and an active ordering widget embedded in the page. No copyright year or other date stamp appeared in the text captured during the check, so the working ordering feature and current menu navigation are the clearest signals that the site is being actively maintained.

Because the name and branding differ substantially from what aired — a barbecue smokehouse concept in place of the bar and grill name shown on air — this entry treats the location as renamed rather than a continuation under its televised identity. No additional independent source, such as a dated review or news item, was reviewed to confirm when the rebranding took place or whether it followed directly from the Bar Rescue visit; the connection here rests on the address and coordinates match returned by Google Places. Anyone needing the exact relaunch date or a description of what changed on air should consult a dedicated Bar Rescue recap source, which was outside the evidence gathered for this write-up.
