What happened after Bar Rescue?

Lucky Leprechaun was an Irish-themed saloon in Davenport that owners Terry and Georgiann Browne had run since 2005, even after their marriage ended in divorce; the two continued living and working together at the bar. Bar Rescue's "The Unlucky Leprechaun" episode, which aired in September 2017, showed Terry hustling customers at pool for cash despite the bar losing roughly $2,000 a month, while the kitchen sat mostly idle and food that did reach customers was greasy and cold. A haze of cigarette smoke filled the room, and Jon Taffer stepped in to stop an illegal money game at the pool table, requiring Terry to repay the customers he had hustled that day.

To address the smoking and disorganization, Taffer challenged Terry to go two days without cursing in exchange for installing a smoke filtration system so customers could keep smoking legally, and brought in mixologist Phil Wills and chef Vic Vega to simplify the menu around items such as a beer-steamed hot dog. The renovation reoriented the bar around its pool tables and renamed the business Lucky's Corner Pocket: Bar and Billiards, keeping "Lucky" from the original name as a nod to its history. New point-of-sale machines and a draft beer system were installed for the relaunch.

According to a local news account from The Ledger, the show put nearly $80,000 into the renovation, and sales were reported up more than 30 percent at the standard six-week follow-up. The turnaround did not last: Georgiann Browne sold the bar at the end of 2018, and according to Reality TV Updates, Lucky's Corner Pocket closed for good around that time. A new billiards bar called Fireside Lounge and Billiards opened at the same address soon after under different ownership, continuing the pool-table concept, but a Yelp listing for the address at 43356 U.S. Highway 27, updated as recently as August 2026, still shows the location under the original Lucky's Corner Pocket name and marks it closed. No newer business name could be confirmed as currently operating at the address, leaving its present status uncertain between the two post-Bar Rescue chapters.
