Paddy's Pub Is Now Oasis Bar — What Happened After Bar Rescue?

Paddy's Irish Pub, a longtime bar in Pahrump, Nevada, was featured in the July 2017 episode "Things That Go Pahrump in the Night." According to later reporting, the pub had operated under the same family -- owner Russ Rodgers, along with his parents -- for more than a decade before the episode, having previously been known as Sullivan's Pub before adopting the Paddy's Irish Pub name and Irish-themed concept. As part of the rescue, Jon Taffer's team addressed service and operational issues at the bar and renamed it Pat's Courtyard Bar, a concept intended to move away from the pub's Irish theme.

Rodgers kept that name for a period after the show's visit, but according to his own account to the Pahrump Valley Times, he ultimately decided the Pat's Courtyard name did not fit the bar's atmosphere, calling it too subdued for what he wanted the space to be. In June 2017, Rodgers closed the bar briefly for renovations and reopened it under yet another new identity, Oasis Bar, dropping the Bar Rescue-assigned name entirely. The Pahrump Valley Times reported that the rebrand included new gaming machines, a five-night-a-week DJ, a dance floor, refelted pool tables, a new video jukebox system, and an expanded food menu built around a "Six Slamming Sandwiches" concept designed with input from a Las Vegas-based chef.

Rodgers described the change as part of an ongoing pattern of periodically refreshing the bar's theme to keep up with shifting local tastes, noting that most bars and nightclubs in the area do not last more than a few years without reinvention. Because Rodgers and his family retained ownership throughout this sequence -- from Sullivan's Pub, to Paddy's Irish Pub, to the Bar Rescue-branded Pat's Courtyard Bar, to today's Oasis Bar -- this is treated as a single business that has been renamed multiple times rather than a change in ownership. Yelp's current listing for the original "Paddy's Irish Pub" business name shows a closed status as of a May 2026 update, which most likely reflects that the business no longer operates under that particular name rather than a closure of the underlying bar. This research pass was not able to independently confirm the current 2026 operating status of the bar under its Oasis Bar name, so that specific point should be treated as unresolved pending a direct check.
