Man v. Food's "Chicago, IL" episode (S1E06), which aired 2008-12-24, featured Lucky's Sandwich Company's specialty deli sandwiches. Lucky's Sandwich Co. operated at 3472 North Clark Street in Chicago, one of two Chicago stops profiled in the same broadcast alongside Al's Beef. Google Places lists the North Clark Street location's business status as permanently closed as of a 2026-09-08 check. The restaurant's former website, luckysandwich.com, returned an HTTP 200 response on the same date but displayed no page title, menu, or other content, consistent with an inactive, unmaintained domain rather than a functioning restaurant site.
