What happened after Best Thing I Ever Ate?
The episode 'In the Last Place You'd Expect' featured Pork Chop John's, a historic Butte, Montana sandwich shop built around a single dish: the pork chop sandwich. The business traces its history to 1932 and operates from its original Uptown Butte location as well as a second location, according to its own website. Pork Chop John's is currently celebrating what its website calls '100 Years of the Original Pork Chop Sandwich.' According to the restaurant's own website, which carried a 2026 copyright notice and posted current weekly hours (for example, Monday through Wednesday 10:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.) when checked in September 2026, the business was operating normally at that time.
