What happened after Restaurant Makeover?
The restaurant that Restaurant Makeover called Europe Planet when its episode aired appears in Wikipedia's list of renovated restaurants under the post-makeover name Quattro 4 Ragazze. The episode, titled "Europe Planet", aired on 2007-02-26 as the twentieth episode of the third season of the HGTV Canada series, in which a chef and a designer rework one restaurant on a limited budget and a short schedule, with the owners adding matching money. Wikipedia's page on the series says the owners' matched funding was originally up to $20,000 and was later lowered to $15,000. Rotten Tomatoes' season listing describes the episode only as an Italian restaurant, which is the sole description of the episode found. Wikipedia's list names chef Corbin Tomaszeski and designer Meredith Heron and places the restaurant in Toronto.
No source read describes the owners, the problems shown on screen, the changes to the menu, decor or staff, or the relaunch. The change of name, from Europe Planet to Quattro 4 Ragazze, comes from Wikipedia's list alone; no news article or business record read for this entry confirms it or dates it. A search for coverage of either name, or of the Danforth Avenue address, turned up no article, review or announcement about the restaurant, so nothing is known here about its menu or ownership beyond the episode description.
A Google Places listing for Quattro 4 Ragazze Ristorante at 1792 Danforth Avenue in Toronto was marked permanently closed when checked on 2026-10-19. Listing data does not give a closing date or a reason, and no dated report was found to supply either. Wikipedia's list marks the restaurant as still open, but that entry gives no date or citation, and the more recent listing data points the other way. No source read says what occupies the address now, and no information from 2025 or 2026 other than the listing was found.
