Food's Miami-area special (aired 2010-02-03) featured Shula's Steak House, the fine-dining restaurant at the Shula's Hotel & Golf Club complex in Miami Lakes founded by former Miami Dolphins head coach Don Shula. According to a Yelp listing updated in July 2026, the Miami Lakes Drive location is now marked permanently closed. A related concept at the same complex, Shula's 2 Steak & Sports, is separately marked closed on a Yelp listing updated in August 2026. The Miami Laker reported that the Shula's Steak House space remained available for catering and private parties even after its regular dining room closed, though no publication date could be found for that article, so it does not override the dated Yelp closure record.
