Slotzy's Gaming Bar & Grill Is Now Vitale's Hideaway… — Bar Rescue Update

Slotzy's Gaming Bar & Grill, in Worden, Illinois, was featured on Bar Rescue season 9, episode 40, "Slotzy's Last Shotzy" (aired 2025-06-29). Route 66 News reported on 2025-06-10 that the location, near a junction of two Route 66 alignments, was being featured in the Bar Rescue episode. Following the show, the bar has operated under a new name, Vitale's Hideaway Gaming Bar & Grill, at 7708 State Rte 4 in Worden, matching the address and coordinates verified for this entry. Google Places marks the business operational under that name.

Vitale's Hideaway's Yelp listing, updated 2026-09, describes it as an American restaurant with a bar and gaming amenities, and shows customer reviews and photos filed under a sandwiches category. According to a description on the ChalkySticks pool-venue directory, the location offers a speakeasy-style atmosphere with slot machines, three pool tables, shuffleboard, dart boards, pinball machines, a stage, and multiple TV screens, along with video poker and slot machines from manufacturers including Scientific Games, WMS, Spielo International, IGT, and Novomatic. The same listing describes standup comedy on the third Saturday of each month, weekly open mic nights, and Thursday poker tournaments, plus a food menu built around chicken wings, tenderloins, and tacos, with discounted wings offered dine-in on Sundays.

Posted hours list the bar open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 a.m. realitytvupdates.com reported that the location has kept its new name and concept since the Bar Rescue relaunch. No official Vitale's Hideaway website was located during research; a Facebook page for the business was identified but not independently fetched. Between the Route 66 News feature confirming the televised visit and the 2026-dated Yelp listing showing the business active under its new name, the record supports continued operation under the Vitale's Hideaway name well after the episode aired.
