What happened after Food Paradise?

Taco Mahal appeared on the episode 'Tasty Twists' (S19E13), which highlighted restaurants that put inventive spins on familiar dishes. Taco Mahal is a counter-service restaurant near Manhattan's West Village that builds its menu around Indian-spiced fillings served taco-style. On 2026-09-08, the restaurant's website, tacomahalnyc.com, carried a headline about ordering fresh Indian flavors and ran a functioning online-ordering system built on the DoorDash storefront platform, according to the site's own code. A Google Places listing checked the same day recorded Taco Mahal as an operating business at 73 7th Ave S in New York City.

No news reports, social-media closure notices, or ownership-change announcements turned up for this location. The menu page loaded without error messages, broken links, or placeholder content, and the ordering system accepted the standard add-to-cart flow visible in the page's underlying script.
