What happened after You Gotta Eat Here!?

TheTVDB's episode guide lists the Burger Barn segment of the 2013-02-15 episode as First Nations fry bread served as a twist on burgers and tacos. Burger Barn is a barn-shaped restaurant at 3000 4th Line in Ohsweken, on the Six Nations of the Grand River territory. Ontario Culinary, in an article dated 2022-10-04, described a simple menu of burgers, cheeseburgers, ribs, wings and the occasional taco. The Turtle Island News reported on 2024-11-06 that Burger Barn won the first Brant Burger Wars, a 14-restaurant fundraiser for Brant United Way, after selling 1,720 burgers and raising $3,440 for Six Nations programs. On 2025-05-13 The Turtle Island News, carrying a Hamilton Spectator report, said a January fire had gutted the restaurant and that the owners were returning with a limited-menu food truck in the parking lot for several days that month. An undated Wanderlog page lists the business as temporarily closed and says the original building was demolished and a new location is being rebuilt.

The Two Row Times reported on 2026-07-22, with an update dated 2026-07-25, that construction had started on a new building at 3000 4th Line, where owners Jason and Celeste Hill said they were working to get the grills going again as quickly as possible. According to that article, a food truck serving a scaled-down menu has operated on the property for the past two summers and was still serving customers while the main building was under construction. The article gave no reopening date for the full restaurant.
