What happened after Restaurant: Impossible (Food Network)?
Robert Irvine and his team visited The Country Cow Restaurant and Bar in Campton, New Hampshire, for Restaurant: Impossible (Food Network), in the 2014 episode 'Holy Cow!' (S9E5), which aired 2014-08-20. According to the Union Leader, the restaurant was co-owned by a divorced couple whose fighting in the kitchen and dining room had become an ongoing problem for staff and customers, even though the pair kept the conflict out of sight during Irvine's visit. Irvine's crew gave the 9,000-square-foot restaurant, set along the Pemigewasset River next to the Campton Covered Bridge, a two-day, $10,000 makeover of the menu and dining room.
After the show, co-owner Jennifer Leonzi took sole control of the business, according to the Union Leader's later coverage of the restaurant. She went on to attend culinary school and relaunched the restaurant in May 2016 with a farm-to-table menu under a new name, Covered Bridge Farm Table. By 2019, annual revenue had grown from roughly $468,000 to $1.2 million, and Food Network returned to the restaurant for a follow-up segment, 'Revisited: One-Woman Show' (S15E4), which aired 2019-07-27 and centered on Leonzi running the relaunched restaurant on her own.
According to farmtablenh.com, the business's own website, 'The Country Cow is now Covered Bridge Farm Table.' A 2026-09-08 check of that site found it live, carrying 2026 copyright dates, and listing current hours and contact information for what its title tag calls 'The Covered Bridge Farm Table Restaurant & Bar,' with no indication that the Country Cow name remains in active use at the Blair Road location. The restaurant continues to operate out of the same riverside building it occupied during the original episode, according to the site's own description of its location beside the covered bridge. The Union Leader's original coverage of the 2014 episode described strong turnout from regular customers eager to watch the production crew work inside the restaurant.
