What happened after Hotel Impossible?

Google Places now lists the address, 1769 White Mountain Hwy, under the name Yankee Clipper Inn, SureStay Collection by Best Western, with an active Best Western booking page for the 68-room property. A direct fetch of that booking page on 2026-09-09 returned an HTTP 403 block, so no page text could be confirmed from the official site during this check.

Tripadvisor carries a review and pricing page for the property under its current SureStay name, updated in 2026, and Hotels.com's listing for the inn describes it as under new ownership with recently renovated rooms, though the page gives no specific date for that change. The inn retained its original name as part of the compound SureStay branding rather than being renamed outright, joining Best Western's soft-brand collection for independently run hotels. Amenities described in current listings include an indoor pool, hot tub, and complimentary breakfast, features consistent with the inn's original identity as a family motel property.

NH Business Review reported on February 16, 2022 that the inn's Sullivan family owners sold it, with the adjoining Blueberry Muffin restaurant, to MAJM Holdings for about $3.5 million. Ten years after the episode aired, the property continues to take reservations at the same address under the SureStay-affiliated name, according to both Best Western's own site and Tripadvisor's 2026 listing.
