What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives featured The Liberty Smokehouse in the episode "Smoke, Seafood, and Shawarma," which aired 2026-08-21, highlighting the Tampa smokehouse's barbecue. A 2026-09-08 search found no fixed storefront for the business; The Liberty Smokehouse operates as a mobile smokehouse that sets up at partner locations such as breweries around the Tampa area, according to its own Facebook page. That Facebook page's post describing the week's pop-up schedule, including a stop at WulfHaven Brewing in Tampa, showed the business actively running events in August 2026.
Because the business has no single street address, no matching map listing was found for it, and addresses shown in some online directories were not independently confirmed, so no map location is given here. No dated evidence of a closure was found in the search.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
