Part 1 — Season 10, Episode 11

Food Paradise featured The Vortex Bar & Grill in the "Stack Attack" episode (S10E11), spotlighting the Atlanta bar's stacked burgers. The Vortex opened in 1992 on Peachtree Street in Atlanta's Midtown neighborhood, marked by its large "Laughing Skull" entrance, and added a second location in Little Five Points in 1996, according to Wikipedia (revised 2026-08-12). The Midtown building also houses the Laughing Skull Lounge comedy club, according to Wikipedia. A 2026-09-08 review of the restaurant's own website found it still branded "Best Burgers in Atlanta Since 1992," with an active online ordering widget, according to thevortexbar.com.
