What happened after Best Thing I Ever Ate?
Varsi Deli is a deli in the Whitestone section of Queens, New York, that appeared in a themed episode of the show under a general 'Queens, NY' billing. A 2026-09-08 web search located an active website, a Facebook page, and delivery-platform listings on Grubhub and Seamless for Varsi Deli at 15-72 149th Street, Whitestone. None of the pages returned in that search carried an explicit current-year date, review, or other dated content confirming ongoing operation, so the finding is inconclusive rather than a confirmation that the deli remains open. No closure notice, relocation notice, or ownership-change announcement was found either. Additional verification, such as a direct site check with visible dates or a recent customer review, would be needed to confirm current status with confidence.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
