What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?

On "Funky Fresh" (aired 2024-12-27), Guy Fieri visited Wally & Buck, a smash-burger restaurant in downtown Missoula, MT, that describes itself on its own website as "Missoula's Smash Burgers." The restaurant operates at 319 E Front St. According to Wally & Buck's website, checked September 2026, the site displays a working shopping cart for online orders, a posted menu, and an employment page inviting job applicants — signs that the business continues to operate, take orders, and hire staff. No press coverage describing a closure, change in ownership, or relocation was found during this check. The restaurant's street address and smash-burger concept match what was documented when the episode aired, and the website gave no indication that its format or ownership has changed since the show's release.
