What happened after Food Paradise?
Food Paradise featured 12 Bones Smokehouse, spotlighting the restaurant's slow-smoked barbecue ribs and Southern sides. The business operates at 2350 Hendersonville Rd in Arden, North Carolina, just south of Asheville, rather than within Asheville proper as the show's episode description suggested. The restaurant's own website, 12bones.com, now titles the business '12 Bones Smokehouse and Brewing,' indicating it has added a brewing operation since it was originally featured as a smokehouse alone. When checked on 2026-09-08, the site carried a 2026 copyright notice and offered an online ordering option, both indicating the restaurant remains open. No additional independent, dated source could be located to corroborate current operation beyond the restaurant's own site.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
