What happened after Best Thing I Ever Ate?

On 'Hidden Treasures,' host Robert Irvine sampled the falafel omelet hoagie from A&M Halal, a halal food truck that parked along Ludlow Street between 31st and 32nd streets in Philadelphia's University City neighborhood, near the University of Pennsylvania campus. Food Network's own restaurant directory and a Best Thing I Ever Ate location page both list the truck at that Chestnut Street/Ludlow Street corridor stop, with an accompanying photo dated June 20, 2013. A Zabihah halal-dining directory listing also placed A&M Halal in Philadelphia. Yelp's and MapQuest's listings for the truck at 31st and Ludlow are now marked closed, and Drexel student coverage of the block's food trucks in 2025 and 2026 no longer mentions A&M Halal.
