What happened after Food Paradise?
The 'Craving Comfort' episode featured AMK Kitchen Bar, a restaurant and bar that operated at 1954 W Armitage Ave in Chicago's Bucktown neighborhood, on the Armitage Avenue retail corridor. Google's business listing for that address, checked 2026-09-07, marks AMK Kitchen Bar permanently closed. The listing returns no active website or online ordering link for the business, a second signal consistent with the location no longer operating under that name. No independent news report or social media confirmation was available to corroborate the closure beyond the listing itself as of this check, and the specific closure date is not established. An exhausted search-budget session also prevented an additional web search from being run for this specific record.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
