Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives visited Aristo's Greek Restaurant during the 'International Family Style' episode, which aired 2014-05-16, spotlighting old-school Greek dishes like grilled octopus drizzled with Cretan olive oil and lemon, alongside lamb tacos and lamb shank served over garden greens. Aristo's Greek Restaurant and Cafe (listed in the original air-date record as 'Artiso's') was a family-run Greek restaurant near downtown Salt Lake City, founded in 2003 and later named to The National Herald's list of the 100 Best Greek Restaurants in the U.S. in 2011 and 2012. According to Salt Lake Magazine, the restaurant served its last meal on April 27, 2019, closing after sixteen years in business. Yelp's listing for Aristo's still marked the restaurant permanently closed in a September 2026 update, showing no signs of it having reopened at the 1300 East address.
