What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?

Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives featured Astoria Cafe & Market in Cleveland's Detroit-Shoreway neighborhood during the 'Surf & Savory' episode, which aired July 8, 2022, highlighting the business's Mediterranean cafe-and-market concept that combines sit-down dining with a retail marketplace. Astoria operates from Detroit Avenue as a cafe with patio seating and a Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter presence. According to the restaurant's own website, astoriacafemarket.com, checked on September 8, 2026, the site carries a 2026 copyright notice, lists current weekend hours including Saturday dinner and brunch service, and runs a working online ordering system.

A Google Places business record checked the same day lists Astoria Cafe & Market as operational, matching the current information on the restaurant's own site. No closure, relocation, or ownership change has been reported for the Detroit Avenue location. The restaurant's actively maintained website and its Google Places listing were consistent with each other during the September 2026 check.
