What happened after Mystery Diners?
Mystery Diners (Food Network) investigated Barefoot Bob's Beach Bar & Gaming in Las Vegas after owner Marty heard employee complaints about a newly hired manager and wanted to find the source of the friction. Wikipedia's article on the series describes Mystery Diners as an operation run by host Charles Stiles that goes undercover at restaurants and bars, at the owners' request, using hidden cameras and staged interactions to document suspected problems. According to IMDb's summary of "Life's Not a Beach" (aired June 9, 2014), Mystery Diners investigators Hollie and Andy went undercover to observe the manager and staff; the available description covers the setup of the investigation but does not detail what Stiles told the owner afterward or what change followed.
Wikipedia's article on the series, citing its sources, separately notes that the program carries a disclaimer that certain events were re-enacted for dramatic purposes and describes a television critic's assessment that some of the show's scenarios and outcomes can appear implausible or staged. A Google Places listing for the East Flamingo Road address in Las Vegas featured in the episode lists the business's status as permanently closed, and no current website or social media presence for Barefoot Bob's Beach Bar & Gaming could be found during this check.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
