What happened after Food Paradise?
Food Paradise, Season 16, Episode 2

Nacho Daddy is a Mexican restaurant and bar inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip, with additional locations in Henderson and downtown Las Vegas. Since the episode, Fox5 Las Vegas reported on 2026-03-21 that Nacho Daddy introduced new "Flight Frenzy" menu items, including a Mini Nacho Flight and curated beer and margarita flights, across all three of its Las Vegas-area locations for March Madness. Google Places lists the Miracle Mile Shops location as operational, checked 2026-09-08, with no indication of a closure.
Mystery Diners, Season 6, Episode 9 Aired
Mystery Diners (Food Network) investigated Nacho Daddy in Las Vegas after owner Paul noticed a discrepancy in the count of the expensive scorpions used to garnish the restaurant's "scorpion shot." Wikipedia's article on the series describes Mystery Diners as an operation run by host Charles Stiles that goes undercover at restaurants, at the owners' request, using hidden cameras and staged interactions to document suspected problems. According to Food Network's description of "Scorpion Sting" (aired June 2, 2014), Mystery Diners investigators Andy and Peter went undercover, and the investigation turned up an employee with a gambling addiction; the available description does not detail what Stiles told the owner afterward or what change followed. Wikipedia's article on the series, citing its sources, separately notes that the program carries a disclaimer that certain events were re-enacted for dramatic purposes and describes a television critic's assessment that some of the show's scenarios and outcomes can appear implausible or staged.
