What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
On the September 2015 episode 'By Hand and By Fork,' Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives visited Bayport BBQ, a barbecue restaurant in the small Minnesota river town of Bayport. The segment featured the restaurant's hand-pulled, house-smoked barbecue, including pulled pork and hand-cut sides prepared from scratch, in keeping with Heavy Table's original description of the restaurant as a from-scratch barbecue joint built around an owner-run smoker. Bayport BBQ operated at 328 5th Avenue North in Bayport, a St. Croix River town near Stillwater. A Yelp listing for Bayport BBQ, updated in April 2026, marks the restaurant permanently closed. A barbecue concept called 210 Bar-B-Que later opened at the same 5th Avenue North address, but Yelp's listing for that business, updated in July 2026, also marks it permanently closed.
