Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives (Food Network) featured Big Star Diner on Bainbridge Island, Washington, in the July 2007 episode "Worth the Trip," where the show highlighted a retro, 1950s-style dining car serving corn pancakes and bacon, burgers, salads, sandwiches, a chorizo scramble, and salmon hash. Wikipedia's July 2026 revision states the diner has since been renamed The Madison Diner, still located on Bainbridge Island.
