What happened after Food Paradise?
The Boathouse Tiki Bar & Grill was featured on the episode 'Gulf Grubbin,' spotlighting the casual, open-air tiki bar's waterfront setting at the Cape Coral Yacht Club. The bar and grill served classic tiki-bar fare and drinks on the water, according to its own site and Facebook page. WTSP reported on October 17, 2024, that a fire destroyed the restaurant hours after it reopened following Hurricane Milton. WINK News reported on September 18, 2025, that the building was demolished as part of a planned rebuild, noting the Kearns Restaurant Group signed a new 30-year deal with the City of Cape Coral to redevelop the site. Yelp's listing for the business, updated September 2026, still marked it closed, with a reopening date not yet announced.
