What happened after Project Bakeover?
Boulangerie Mr. Pinchot in Montreal was the tenth and last episode of Project Bakeover (Food Network Canada) season two, “Perfecting the Patisserie,” first aired on 2022-06-02. According to Wikipedia's article on the series, host Steve Hodge and designer Tiffany Pratt help bakeries update their menus and decor, and season two ran ten episodes from 2022-03-31 to 2022-06-02. Wikipedia's episode table lists three items created for the bakery: a roulade, a pain bianco and Lebanese éclairs. The sources reviewed for this page do not describe the problems shown on air, the redesign or the relaunch beyond the episode title. It was one of two Montreal bakeries in the season, the other being Boulangerie Patisserie Italia, which aired two weeks earlier on 2022-05-19.
The bakery was listed at 4354 Rue de Brébeuf in Montréal, with the website mrpinchot.com. That website did not respond when checked on 2026-10-19. Google's place record for Boulangerie Mr Pinchot, read on the same day, lists it as permanently closed and gives no closure date.
A Wanderlog page for the business, viewed on 2026-10-19, marks every day of its weekly hours as permanently closed. Its most recent dated review is from 2023-01-21 and its oldest from 2017-07-29; those dates show only when reviews were posted, not when the bakery stopped trading. An Atmosfy page for the bakery lists weekday hours of 7:30am to 7pm and weekend hours of 8am to 5pm but carries no dates and no closure marking, so it is not treated as a more recent source.
