What happened after Food Paradise?
In the episode 'Pizza Party' (Season 9, Episode 4), Buddy's Pizza was featured for its Detroit-style square pizza, the dish the restaurant is widely credited with originating. The business operates this location in the Madison Building in downtown Detroit as part of a regional chain with several Michigan locations. According to the restaurant's own website, which carried a last-modified date of 2026-09-08 and a 2026 copyright notice, Buddy's Pizza posted a Labor Day 2026 special-hours notice alongside its regular hours of 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and it operates an online ordering system, according to Buddy's Pizza. The same website also lists a customer rewards program, a careers section, and driving directions to the Broadway Street address, according to Buddy's Pizza.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
