What Happened to Chop House Burgers After Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?

Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, Season 14 Arlington, Texas

Current status

Closed

As of October 2026, Chop House Burgers has closed — confirmed via Yelp, May 2026.

What the source shows: Re-confirmed Sept 2026: Yelp continues to mark the original 2230 W Park Row location closed. A separate business, "Mahogany's Chop House Burgers," operates at 1700 W Park Row under different ownership; per the site's continuity rule, a new tenant at a different address does not continue the featured business, so the featured Chop House Burgers remains closed. What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?

Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives featured Chop House Burgers in the 'Crankin' Up the Classics' episode, aired 2012-04-16, during a visit to the Arlington, Texas burger restaurant. Chop House Burgers operated as a gourmet burger restaurant in the Dallas-Fort Worth suburb of Arlington. The original restaurant has since closed, though similarly named businesses have appeared in listings nearby. Yelp's page for Chop House Burgers, updated May 2026, marks the 2230 W Park Row location as closed. A Facebook page for a related business, 'The Original Chop House Burgers & Lounge,' lists an address nearby on Park Row without indicating a closure, and a listing for 'Mahogany's Chop House Burgers and Lounge,' updated July 2026, appears at a similar block.

DoorDash separately lists a 'Chop House Burgers' storefront in Arlington as temporarily closed. In a September 2026 check, Yelp still marked the original 2230 W Park Row location closed; Mahogany's Chop House Burgers, which operates at 1700 W Park Row under different ownership, is a different business at a different address, so it is not treated as a continuation of the featured restaurant.
