Cielo Lounge Is Now Don Marcós Cantina — What Happened After Bar Rescue?

Bar Rescue (Paramount Network) featured Cielo Lounge in Port St. Lucie, Florida, in the season 9 episode "Dancing Dreams Dashed," which aired June 16, 2024. TCPalm reported that Jon Taffer's team renovated the restaurant, created a new calamari recipe after finding old calamari and cross-contamination in the kitchen, trained the bar staff in cocktails, and renamed the business Don Marco's Cantina for owners Mark Maffei and Os Ou. By September 2026, the bar was still operating at 8765 S U.S. Highway 1 under its new name as Don Marcós Cantina Lounge, a Latin-themed restaurant and nightclub.

The St. Lucie County tourism site, visitstlucie.com, lists the venue with a menu built around Latin cuisine, including seared filet mignon and lobster tail, and describes weekly entertainment that includes Wednesday salsa and bachata dance lessons followed by open social dancing, and a Friday Latin-themed DJ night. Social pages for the business on TikTok and a separate business-listing site also use the Don Marcós Cantina name for the same address. Google's business record for the coordinates lists the location as operational under the Don Marcós Cantina name.

The tourism listing gives the same phone number that TCPalm published for the bar, and no sale or change of owners since the episode was found. The current listings for Don Marcós Cantina describe an actively promoted, multi-night entertainment venue rather than a dormant one, with weekly recurring events and a tourism-board listing suggesting ongoing operation as of this check. Because the new name came from the show itself, Don Marcós Cantina is the same bar featured in "Dancing Dreams Dashed," operating under the name Bar Rescue gave it.
